Do blue-light glasses fix this?

The evidence is mixed at best, and reviews keep concluding the measured sleep benefit is small or unclear. They also do nothing about the content problem, which for most people is the bigger half. We would not argue with anyone who likes theirs; we would not spend money expecting a transformation either.

Is reading on an e-reader as bad as a phone?

A dim e-ink reader is close to paper in light terms, and a novel is about as low-arousal as content gets. If a device has to be in the bed, that combination is the least problematic version of it.
